ABOUT STABLE SOLUTIONS
Welcome to Stable Solutions, a new child and youth mental health care facility located on a working farm/ranch. Located just 75 km north of Regina, when appropriate, I blend animal-assisted therapies with evidence-based mental health services. I deliver personalized care that aims to address the unique needs of each child. My expansive arena, heated barn, and private counseling room provide a safe and confidential environment for children and youth aged 7-15.

I have extensive education and experience in education, psychology, and animal behavior. With more than 30 years of experience as a teacher, learning resource specialist, and psychologist, I hold registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists, along with an Authorized Practice Endorsement (APE) that permits me to convey a diagnosis. Declared areas of competency include School and Counseling Psychology, enabling me to offer counseling, assessment, and consultation services for children, adolescents, and families.
I partner with a diverse group of animals, including my dogs, cats, and horses. These animals have participated in and trained across a variety of disciplines such as obedience, agility, flyball, scent work, therapy preparation, the Canine Good Neighbor Program, liberty work, on-line training, and under saddle. When including animals in therapy sessions, their personalities, preferences, and skills are considered to create a goodness -of-fit with the client and the client's goals. Guiding principals place equal emphasis on the well-being of the client and animal.
